The Ken-Tool 21009 is the single wheel member of the Jack Rod family, rated at 2 tons and built with a wider 2.25 inch depth to suit single wheel floor jacks. Like the rest of the family, its job is simple and important: if the jack’s hydraulics fail, the load comes down onto a solid steel rod rather than onto the technician.
It extends from 8 inches compressed to 14 inches, covering the normal working range of a shop floor jack, and installs in seconds. Because it mounts to the jack and stays there, it gets used – which is more than can be said for safety equipment kept in a drawer.
Ken-Tool has built tire and vehicle service tools in Akron, Ohio since 1920. For higher capacity, the 21007 and 21008 Jack Rod Stands are rated to 3.5 tons with the pin installed.
