AKRON, Ohio (April 9, 2007) – Ken-Tool today announced the appointment of Rockford Tyson as the director of marketing and sales. In his new position, Tyson will oversee all marketing and sales activities for the company and will report to Alec Pendleton, President. Ken Tool is a leading manufacturer of automotive specialty hand tools including tools for changing and servicing tires across a wide array of applications.

Tyson joins Ken Tool from Stride Tool Inc., where he held various positions since 1997 including Director of Marketing. Previously, he was Consumer Marketing Manager for the Ridge Tool Company and his experience includes 17 years of marketing, sales and engineering positions with tire manufacturers such as Michelin, Dunlop and BFGoodrich.
Tyson received his MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tri-State University. He is a member of Sales and Marketing Executives International of Akron and serves on their board. Tyson can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
